BCF contributed Rs 2.5 million to five women journalists for their Everest expedition in May 2018. Rosha Basnet of National News Agency, Kalpana Maharjan of Megha Television, Rojita Buddharcharya of Nepal Television and Deurali Chamling, a freelancer, managed to conquer the summit.
