Basant Chaudhary Foundation and Norvic International Hospital, in collaboration with Nitric Oxide Innovations (NOI), Texas and Senator Dan Shelly will be providing nitric oxide supplements worth US$ 750,000 to 20,000 Covid-19 positive Nepali patients, free of charge.
The FDA-registered preventive supplement has been licensed from the University of Texas Health Science Center under Dr Nathan S Bryan of NOI. It provides a standardized dose of sodium nitrite along specific hawthorne berry extract and vitamin C which effectively generate and liberate nitric oxide gas in the form of an oral lozenge. The gas is a very potent vasodilator that can dilate blood vessels, thereby improving oxygenation.

Human clinical trials have shown that the lozenge modifies cardiovascular risk factors in patients over the age of 40.

We believe that the nitric oxide supplement will be a blessing for people in Nepal where less than 17 per cent of the population has been fully vaccinated so far.
